I wanted to share the article from the Washington Post today (link below).

Here are a few key points from the article:
- Romney is ahead by 49 to 47 over Obama. If the election were held today, he would likely win by more, given that incumbents typically don't win a large percentage of undecided voters.
- By a two to one margin, Americans think we are on the wrong track.
- Nine out of ten view the economy negatively.
- Two-thirds of Independents have a negative view of Obama's handling of the economy, with a majority strongly negative. Governor Romney is beating Obama with Independents 50 to 43.
Governor Romney is clearly in a much stronger position than McCain was in 2007, and Bush in 1999 had about the same head to head numbers against Gore. In addition, the current environment is clearly much more negative for Obama than it was Gore in 2000.
